CAST & CREW:
EDDIE
It takes a steady hand to steer the course through Gray’s quixotic projects that aren’t quite as financially successful as they are artistically rewarding. His right hand man, Eddie Lain, is nothing, if not unsteady, as he navigates his course through the world of earthly delights. While the siren songs of wine, women and song drive him down the road of life, Eddie is the glue, such as it is, that holds back the chaos and keeps the lights on while churning out their cash cow car commercials, weddings and other assorted video projects. Like everyone in this industry he, too, has his own dream project he’s trying to get off the ground called “Vacation Vixens… or was that "FilmCations”. It’s something about travel but no one can really quite figure out what it’s all about… like a lot of projects it’s still in development, kind of like life itself.
Played by EDDIE LAIN
GERREN
Young and ambitious, Gerren started at the studio as an intern and has brown-nosed his way up through the ranks to be part of the regular crew. His young “success” has gone a bit to his head and shows little respect for his elders who got him there in the first place. Always willing to do anything just to get recognized, yet his true ambition is to write, produce, and star in his own soap opera one day.
Played by GERREN HALL
BROOKE
Cigar chomping, gold chained producer trying to bounce back into the black after losing $100,000 on his last reality series, “The Romance”, with a movie now in development about sex slaves starring Jean Claude Von Dam. It may not be “Gone with the Wind” but if he can just raise a cool million or two for that production, shoot the damn thing and get it edited, he’s back in the race.
Played by BROOKE ELDRIDGE
GEORGE
The salt of the earth kind of guy who keeps the door open with his industrial shoots but has his eyes on the ultimate prize with a high-end sci-fi feature he’s trying to get off the ground in Argentina - Ocassus.
Played by GEORGE HUNTER
SARAH
Sexy office manager who uses what the gods have bequeathed her (and they bequeathed a lot) to run roughshod over the “Shooters” crew while cracking the whip to keep the boys in line. Turns out, it's just her "means to an end" to chase her true passion of chasing sunshine with her travel video blog.
Played by SARAH GRIFFITH
KATHY
Materialistic, money-hungry, sharp-tongued, conniving and ambitious, Kathy uses her looks and feminine sexuality to wield her way around and get what she wants. She’s there to spy on the crew for Gray but really wishes for the studio to fail so she can take it over and turn it into a massage & spa place (more likely, a brothel disguised as a massage & spa place). She plots to secretly sabotage the projects to give the studio that extra nudge over the cliff.
Played by KATHY CAMERON
SOPHIE
A sexy, hard edged number crunching accountant and MUA whose constant refrain is we’re going down for the count as she struggles with the challenges of being a single mother and surrounded by men who would be boys.
Played by SOPHIE PESTOLIS
GONZO
His goal to become the next Jorge Ramos came and went a long time ago but he still strings his stories south of the border to the local Spanish Channel 51 whenever he can to make a few pesos. But those pesos just don’t pay the bills north of the border in San Diego so he shoots the shit with his amigos at Shooters while he waits for their collective ship to come in.
Played by GONZALO RUIZ
JORDAN
The cameraman who can’t shoot straight to save his life but is an integral part of the team and comes with the territory. His shaky hands on the camera are those same hands that cause him to get repeatedly slapped by the ladies that “mistakenly back into” his hands. Starring in his own hilarious YouTube series as a George Castanza kind of guy in “Jordan Hates”, he shoots for “Shooters” while he’s waiting for his viral ship to arrive.
Played by JORDAN JACOBO
EARL
Earl, big lovable Earl. He’s been around the block, a few times, and had several accidents along the way. Always ready to tell his stories of “I remember when’s” or to share his latest ailment or lamenting on his glorious past at the opera house, he just doesn’t know how to answer a short question with a short answer.
Played by EARL HUNDT
HARV
A Walter Mitty kind of a guy who mostly shoots product shots by day but come nightfall, his doppelganger opens the door into an exotic world of glamorous models and international fame, or so he dreams.
Played by HARV RUBIN
GRAY
And then there's Gray!
The mysterious wanderer. World weary, seen it all, madman who keeps trying to leave it all behind in an unrequited quest for nirvana and/or the promised land wherever it may lie. Just as he is about to break on through to the other side something always comes up to distract him from the path, dragging him back into the world. He has shot everything from groundbreaking adventure documentaries like “The Last Road to Cambodia”, features like “Flanagan’s Last Resort”, music videos like the politically charged “Freedom Loving Man” and even a couple of forays into late night cable erotica with a series titled “Dream Girls” in his more wayward youth. He is nothing, if not interesting.
Played by GRAY CALDERON
